Researches from abroad show that young people identifying as LGBT are at higher risk of experiencing poor mental health but Icelandic researches regarding the matter are still very limited.
At this event mental health specialists will discuss the status in Iceland based on their experience.
Educational events at Reykjavik Pride 2019 are held in cooperation with The National Museum of Iceland. At the museum you can find the rainbow thread, a queer guide to the permanent exhibition “Making of a Nation – Heritage and History in Iceland.”
