In light of recent developments and tougher restrictions it has become clear that organised events for Reykjavik Pride 2020, planned to take place August 4th – 9th, will NOT be going ahead.
The Board of Reykjavik Pride is hoping to postpone as many events as possible until later in the year; this will become clear in the coming weeks.
Reykjavik Pride remains as important today as it has been in the past to draw attention to the struggle that the LGBTQIA+ community faces in the fight for equal human rights and to increase visibility.
Although planned events will be cancelled – Pride will never be cancelled!
