Each year, Reykjavík Pride publishes a vibrant and high-quality magazine, typically spanning 60–70 pages. The magazine is usually released in early July, with tens of thousands of copies printed. It is widely distributed across Reykjavík, including in shops, cafés, swimming pools, and other popular public places. The magazine is also available online on the Reykjavík Pride website, and in recent years, a number of copies have also been distributed internationally.
Although Reykjavík Pride is organized and run by volunteers, hosting the festival—and producing the magazine—comes with significant costs. To help cover these expenses, sponsors are offered the opportunity to place advertisements in the magazine.
It has become a tradition for ads in the Pride magazine to be colorful and joyful, providing Icelandic companies with a lively and fun way to show their support for LGBTQIA+ rights and the festival itself.
