Each year, Reykjavík Pride publishes a vibrant and high-quality magazine, typically spanning 100+ pages. The magazine is usually released at the end of July, with around 4000 copies printed. It is widely distributed all over Iceland, including in shops, cafés, swimming pools, and other popular public places. The magazine is also available online on the Reykjavík Pride Magazine website.
Although Reykjavík Pride is organized and run by volunteers, hosting the festival—and producing the magazine—comes with significant costs. To help cover these expenses, sponsors are offered the opportunity to place advertisements in the magazine.
It has become a tradition for ads in the Pride magazine to be colorful and joyful, providing Icelandic companies with a lively and fun way to show their support for LGBTQIA+ rights and the festival itself.
