The Pride Parade
The Pride Parade is the highlight of Reykjavik Pride. It brings together lesbians, gay men, bisexual and pansexual people, trans individuals, intersex people, and other LGBTQ+ individuals, along with their families and friends, to affirm their existence and raise awareness about important causes.
If you want to join the Pride Parade, you can sign up as an individual or register your group below.
Parade registration opens in June and usually closes about a week before the parade.
Grants
Reykjavik Pride offers grants to assist with the funding of parade entries and to improve access to events.
The Parade Fund is a grant fund for entries wishing to participate in the Reykjavik Pride Parade. Grants from the fund are intended to help cover costs such as the design of entries, vehicle rentals, and material purchases.
Free tickets are designed to remove financial barriers that would otherwise prevent members of the LGBTQ+ community from attending Reykjavik Pride events.”
