ÖBÍ participates in the Reykjavik Pride Parade and signs a collaboration agreement with Reykjavik Pride

One part of the project is ÖBÍ’s participation in the Joy Walk on August 9th under the title – Accessibility for all under the rainbow!

ÖBÍ Rights Association and Hinsegin Dagar have entered into a collaboration agreement with the aim of increasing the visibility of queer people with disabilities and their access to the queer community.

We encourage disabled people to join us, support the human rights struggle of all queer people, and raise awareness of the situation of disabled queer people.

Participants in the walking group will be offered great rainbow t-shirts while supplies last.

We will meet at the Human Rights Building, Sigtún 42, punctually at 1 pm to prepare ourselves and walk together to Hallgrímskirkja.

The procession will depart from Hallgrímskirkja Church punctually at 2:00 PM. From there, the procession will follow Skólavörðustígur, Bankastræti, Lækjargata and Fríkirkjuvegur. The procession will end at the intersection of Fríkirkjuvegur and Skothúsvegur, but the procession will continue onto Sóleyjargata and from there into Hljómskálagarðinn, where outdoor concerts will take place.
