Registration is now open for the 2026 Pride Parade, taking place on Saturday, August 8! Anyone wishing to participate must register by July 20. Participation is open to all who comply with the participation rules.
The Reykjavík Pride Parade is the highlight of the festival — a vibrant celebration where queer individuals, their families, and friends come together to celebrate diversity and advocate for equal rights. It is both a protest and a celebration — a space to recognize progress and demand further change.
The parade starts at Hallgrímskirkja at 2 PM and marches through downtown Reykjavík, ending at Hljómskálagarður Park where the outdoor concert begins.
